No problems myself, I've had CrapCleaner for years. Got rid of Defraggler
ages ago.
Remove the lot, all traces and do it again....individually.
Make SURE you have not ticked the Yahoo boxes.

Nope. Never.

Tested this in a virtual machine. Went to http://www.piriform.com home
page. Clicked the "Download" link. Clicked the "Download" link for
CCleaner v2.29.1111. Clicked on "Alternative Download" since that one comes
from their own site, not from off-site (Filehippo). Ran the downloaded file
to do the installation. During the installation, I unchecked the following
option:

Add CCleaner Yahoo! Toolbar and use CCleaner from your browser

After the installation completed, I closed and reloaded my web browser
(IE8). No Yahoo toolbar showed up. No Yahoo toolbar was listed as an
available toolbar to display. Yahoo Toolbar was not listed in the
Add/Remove Programs applet. Found nothing in the registry for Yahoo. I
didn't get stuck with the Yahoo Toolbar when I opted out of it during the
installation.

That CCleaner's installer *defaults* to including adware also makes CCleaner
adware. Tis a pity they chose to classify themself as adware. Guess their
donationware didn't get enough donations.

I updated and did not install the tool bar.
