Unless I need to hear from a vendor to get a serial number or something of that nature, if someone demands an email address I usually give them 'vaderd(a)evilempire.org' or 'asscroftjohn(a)doj.gov'. If I'm feeling irritable, I go with 'frenchtexan(a)chickenhawk.gov'. However, none of that is needed in this case. You need merely go to <http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/22774/the-unarchiver>, for, verily, The Unarchiver will decompress many formats. Including .stf and .stfx. And it's free. And the vendor doesn't want your email address. And the Stuffit boys can bite me. -- email to oshea dot j dot j at gmail dot com.

At least it's worked on every .stf and .stfx that I've ever tried. -- email to oshea dot j dot j at gmail dot com.

I might give that a try if desperate. I'd rather avoid the "official" one as I feel it would taint the soul of my system in some way :) I must say, I am suprised Stuffit hasn't died already. The last time I saw a .sit file was about 2 years ago! |
