Alas, I have a file that is in .sit format. Is there any way to expand
it with the tools that come with OS X 10.6? (I think Safari may have
done these in the past, but it doesn't appear to now).

Would rather not, thanks. They want my email address,
the mad fiends. They're not having it.

Just set up a separate Hotmail or Yahoo or whatever account for this
stuff. That's what I do.
