If yes, suggest you try running sfc /scannow from an Elevated Command Prompt ( Click the Start orb; in the Start Search field type in cmd *Right* click cmd.exe under Programs and choose 'Run as administrator' Follow the UAC prompt and then click Continue ) At the prompt type in the below and then press Enter sfc /scannow Does the System File Checker run ? If yes, what did it report ?
