No, it is not the best, but the best has a more difficult learning curve which is HTML-kit (lots of plug-ins). I use Kompozer a lot, though you have to be careful as I must use the source code view to help keep the trashy code and left over code cleaned up along with the help of PSPad which is a powerful notepad type editor. It is a must to keep improving your code knowledge in order to clean the messy code it leaves behind or creates when you cut and paste from the WYSIWYG view. http://kompozer.net/ http://www.pspad.com/ http://www.chami.com/html-kit -- Bear Bottoms Freeware website http://bearbottoms1.com Freeware Wikia http://freeware.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page

Sure would be nice if you could download and install *just* that component. Kind of sucks, they allow you to *not* install "mail & newsgroups, spellchecker, chatzilla, debugger, inspector, roaming and website reporter," but not whatever the HTML editor component is. Unless one of those *is* the component and I just do not know it? -- -Lost Remove the extra words to reply by e-mail. Don't e-mail me. I am kidding. No I am not.
