Three have presumably announced this just now so as to give a month's
notice to existing customers on that tariff

But they aren't giving prospective new customers a month's notice, as
there is no mention of it at all on their tariff page
http://www.three.co.uk/Pay_As_You_Go/What_it_costs

What is more, I've read people commenting that the link in the message
to the new rates only works from a mobile, and access from a PC
doesn't work http://ghp.three.co.uk/comms/payg/a

More than ever, this makes 3's so-called Terminate The Rate campaign
look like an exercise in practiced mendacity

I'm wondering if 3 SIMs on Flat12 will become collectors' items

Interesting. My link was:
http://ghp.three.co.uk/comms/payg/b

I posted a link to a copy of the page earlier in the thread, but the prices
are the same as reported here.

I'm on Flat12 and got the text. So they might be trying to apply it to
Flat12 customers too.

They rang me yesterday to which the tubbie got the standard response: -

3's standards of customer service, terms and conditions of trading and
business practices are well known to me, so I won't be trading with you.

BTW are they still super-gluing SIM's into phones?

I've never known a phone network to change so much.
e.g. complete reversal from providing no data, to being data oriented

They've not done that for at least 5 years, they've gone from guarding
their sims (banning them from sale on ebay) to giving them away.

The price changes won't make much difference to me as i use my
3pay for it's on net calls and data.
When calling off net i use another phone, which i'll be using to call
my 3 Voicemail with

that's interesting

I have a SIM that says it's on Flat12, only activated yesterday

it's lent to someone in a dongle with mobile broadband add-on at the
moment, so I might check for text messages in a day or two

my oldest 3 SIM, on WePay, hasn't received anything

oddly, these 2 and the latest one are the only payg tariffs I can find
described on the 3 website, but there was definitely something before
WePay, as mine was spposedly on it though unused for a couple of years
