Next maybe? > > They'll have to go a long way up to rival the other networks It's hard to tell - the website is confusing and seems to contradict itself. I'm looking for a cheap, sim-only contract and currently t- mobile looks like being the best, as they have a rolling 30-day sim only contract available with 1gb of data, 100 mins, 100 texts. 3 seem to offer something similar for £15 but you have to phone them - the details aren't available online in the same way that their other tariffs are - why? 3 offer a £9.99 "one off cost" pay as you go sim, with "free*" in the "internet allowance" row. The * doesn't refer to an internet data limit. If you click on `buy it now` there are more details, including "150MB Mobile Internet data allowance for 90 days" and "Once you've used your free allowance, internet access is 30p per MB". How that constitutes `free` internet is anyones get - as far as I'm concerned it constitutes "lying". To be fair to 3, they're not alone in their lying - Virgin do an £18 sim-only contract with "unlimited" internet, but it's not unlimited, there's a limit (ie the exact opposite of unlimited), and once you reach that limit you get to pay £2 per MB! £2! So you could watch an episode of Eastenders online and suddenly owe them hundreds of pounds! |
