Now it has started to ask 2 or even 3 times. This never happens on my laptop running XP. And right now at 13.45 on 22/4/2010 in Central London Three Internet is *still* flakey. Its slow to connect, with frequent disconnects, and browsing is slow with freq. timeouts - and they call it an improved network!! Jeeze .... CJB

As everyone knows you are an expert on such matters, especially when it comes to Orange. If it was Orange suffering a bit of a glitch I'm sure you'd be into your fourth, possibly fifth paragraph about how you could do it better, and if only they hadn't got rid of everyday 50 and line 2 and free 0800 data etc etc. How many more incidents suffered by the 3 network will it take for you to "turn" on them I wonder? -- Regards Jon

Same with me yesterday evening as well (Edinburgh), and continuing to this morning (Thursday) as well, when I couldn't even access "Planet 3" either, let alone the wider internet. Internet access was back by this evening, but it left me unimpressed. Internet outages seem to be a relatively common (well, by my standards) occurrence with Three (often offline for at least several hours every few months, although to be fair, it's been a while since the last time). I'm recently out of contract and am giving some thought to switching networks, what's the reliability of internet connectivity like on the other networks? (Rock-solid GPRS would be good enough for me, it's _reliability_ for light web usage that I need, not speed as such.) Internet outages notwithstanding, I'm _fairly_ happy with Three's service, although the "special 6 month contract" that the shop staff sold me ("Oh, don't worry that the paperwork says 18 months, that's just standard, it'll get sorted out") mysteriously became "No, it's not" by the time it came to arguing with Three's call centre later (I couldn't be bothered with the pain of trying to take it further as I'd gone into the shop prepared for an 18 month contract in any case, but the underhand sales technique still rankles..). And I don't think anybody else does free (or from inclusive minutes) voicemail these days, do they? David.

(some with 50p credit inc) Go for them as they are certainly Orange network ones. But LycaMobile won't credit the 2quid registration bonus on them anymore. Don't know if the new LycaMoble Plus O2 network ones have free voicemail but I'd be surprised if they did. Another advantage with LycaMobile on Orange is that Voicemail is active as default old tariff at: http://www.lycamobile.co.uk/rates.aspx?tariff=stdlyca&lang=EN Most contracts still take voicemail from inc mins, and if you have a contract with inc mins you can use that to call many networks PAYG voicemail after seting up a voicemail PIN, including 3 (which is what i'll be doing from now on to my 3Pay) Steve Terry -- Get a free Three 3pay Sim with 2 bonus after 10 top up http://freeagent.three.co.uk/stand/view/id/5276
