From: GSchaller on 14 Nov 2006 03:06 Rob, Fine time to be going all sensitive on me <g> but I think the word 'abusive' us being abused here. She doesn't have any idea what she is talking about and she said so. So I meant exactly what I said and you will note that Ginny has made the same comments to me in the past. You didn't jump to my defence then and why is this any different? In this case her contribution is exactly as I've described it. It was ill conceived and thoroughly confused the discussion, which could have highlighted some important points about Vulcan. I expected more from her, especially as she is of the inner circle and double especially because of her involvement in the recent VODC. She regularly accuses me of foot in mouth disease but on this occasion she is chewing firmly on all 5 toes. It's Hmmm... so you are already predicting that there will be many problems. Interesting. However, I will do what is professionally responsible to do. I was part of the original putsch for Vulcan and I intend to see it through. > BTW, Ginny has been very nice to you but you have been very abusive. What I've said here is nothing in comparison to what you've said to me in this forum so go take a happy pill and a nice lie down. There. Pleasant enough for you? <g> Geoff

It is unfortunate that a small handful of people seem to have nothing better to do than to bash and denigrate everything that Grafx does, but the best thing to do is simply to ignore them or even better, just put them in your kill file. There still are useful and helpful messages here and if you eliminate the noise, it's a much more pleasant environment. > I am ready to be amazed..... No. The Vulcan.NET macro compiler is a subset of the full compiler. It does not use a CodeDom to generate code, it generates code directly in the form of dynamic methods. -- Don

Hi Don, Even cooler! Thanks for the clarification. I hope you had a good trip back - I realize you were traveling until today. -- Ginny "Don Caton" <dcaton(a)shorelinesoftware.com> wrote in message news:soudna-QqOxKTcTYnZ2dnUVZ_vGdnZ2d(a)comcast.com... > "Ginny Caughey" <ginny.caughey.online(a)wasteworks.com> wrote in message > news:4rr547Fsf73nU1(a)mid.individual.net: > >> Heiko, >> >> Yes you can do the whole CodeDom thing in Vulcan too just as you suggest. >> As >> far as I know that's more or less how macros are implemented in Vulcan >> anyway.
