From: Terje Barman on 12 Nov 2006 07:21 Graham, Why on earth do you still read and post to this ng? If you don't use VO - fine, but why does it seem like you are obsessed to convince everone else to abandon VO? From: Meinhard Schnoor-Matriciani on 11 Nov 2006 15:39 Hi John, just returned from the Cologne, we made it out of the city at exactly 11:11 <g> > Finally, on behalf of the Development Team and all of the attendees, I > would like to take the opportunity to thank the conference organisers, > Sonja Schletterer, Rudiger Kardel and team leader, Dieter Crispien who > have done such a great job. Yep, it was indeed a great conference and they did a perfect job ! And it was nice to meet the crew again ! Thx to you guys too, brilliant work ! I personally haven't had so many positive feedback from attendees for years. What I like most, was to see that you've got so great recognition inside MS, this will help a lot in the future. Now having said that, there some other things I really liked. The sessions have been very valuable, good topics and lost of new ideas which already have made it to our minds. You know, to see these apps which already -have been written in Vulcan.NET was unbelievable. Actually it animated me to migrate my goldparser engine just to see how long it takes and what changes I do have to make. Well, I've been doing it during the car ride home ( when I was sitting next to R?diger while he was driving , of course ;-) ) and I was suprised to see that I could do it in half an hour and it worked ! That convinced me to start the big one next week. Be prepared for something special when we'll see each other next time. The other thing which I really liked, was that nobody takes HWMSNBA and his friend HWMACG seriously and the people recognize which intention they have. Would please be so kind and remember to send me the edited abstract back ? TIA BTW, I really like the idea about the application show we've been talking about in the very last moment. Enjoy the weekend GP ;-) Regards Meinhard
