The client machines will most probably be Kubuntu 9.04. (Still trying to figure out how to stop ~.kde from corrupting -- what a pain in the a--!) My machine is CentOS 5.3 with Xfce 4.4.2. What worries me is having to install 65 port forwards in my router's iptables firewall. Have you worked with Krfb at all? -T

Main Menu: ( System->Preferences->Remote Desktop ) Starting the client on the viewing box is as easy as Main Menu: ( Applications->Internet->Remote Desktop Viewer )

It would suffice to pass the tunnel carrier address and port (usually UDP/1194). -- Tauno Voipio tauno voipio at iki fi

A tunnel would help me do a lot of things. I have a lot of experience with Open VPN in Windows too. It shouldn't be too hard to port. Thank you! -T |
