You wouldn't normally need to buy a new one if you break it?

Don't be obstroculous, you know wha I mean. My handset has no insurance
whatsoever, so any repairs/replacements come directly out of my wallet.

Would be cheaper at full cost by £150 over the life of the contract for
me rather than doing the o2 update, so I would consider it.

I thought it was. My handset is a contract o2 one, but has no insurance
whatsoever. Mind you, that is for replacements, for repair it is apples
job to fix it, same as any other of my apple devices.
