Same here: I own SC2 also and also refuse to update. It is the only software I have that occasionally hangs up and have to force quit. Does not work with Apples fileVault or third party file encryption systems. I have too keep sensitive information using separate user names using encryption. I have other issues as well with Adobe. I will take BBedit anytime over Dreamweaver. Apples iWeb works well for Non-industrial uses. iWorks is sufficient enough for me to replace InDesign. iWorks could use some improvement for me, in the area of mail/file merging. I hope, when I update my software, there will be a good replacement for Illustrator and Photoshop so I can say GOOD-BYE to Adobe. Also wasn't CSS suppose to replace HTML? HTML 5.0 is not needed. Improve CSS instead. Enjoy Life... Dan -- Garden in Zone 5 South East Michigan.

I had to request total refund because they said that they (adobe corp) could not issue an intl english licence. That got me someone from HQ in canada to call me and sheissued me the proper licences. Problem is that there leftover files from the "test" US english installation, and while during normal use, the software accepts the intl english l;icence for the intl english install, software updates ruin this and turn the software back to US english because of the remnant files. I can't delete and start from stratch because the licence relies on an upgrade from Page Maker. The software does not validate old PageMaker licences (version 1.2 I think) and I have to call the drones, argue for a month before they pass me to a tech who then has a trick with challenge response to tell the software to accept that licence. Meanwhile, the drones refuse to handle my requests for support because my software is not registered. Somehow, when I use the "register" function for the software, it appears to work, but they show up in some phantom account in their database, and my requests for help come from my "real" acocunt with them and they refuse to fix their administrative problems.
