Interesting article, Michelle, and many thanks for posting it!

As an aside, when I upgraded to Snow Leopard I ditched both Adobe
Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, choosing to use the iWork suite
instead. Admittedly iWork lacks some of the capabilities of Creative
Suite and Office, but with a few minor needs to do a work around, I
have found iWork does what I need with, what at least to me, is a far
more pleasant interface. I'm awaiting iWork '10 and hope that the few
missing features that are useful to me will be addressed.

Does this really belong in comp.sys.mac.system??

I would think this would be better posted to comp.sys.mac.misc.

I own CS2. I have point-blank refused to update to CS3 or CS4, in large part
due to the outrageous pricing structure. I would only go to CS5 if a future
Apple OS update renders CS2 unusable... and even then I'd think hard before I
did it. If Apple (or anyone else, even Microsoft, and yes I'm absolutely
serious about that...) were to unleash software which could replace
Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Dreamweaver, but at a reasonable price,
I'd buy it immediately.

As for a replacement for Dreamweaver I suggest taking a look at Freeway
from Softpress, <www.softpress.com> , which is available in both an
Express and a Pro version, and which has a free trial period.
