What is the difference between VR and "normal"? I tried to "finalize" such a DVD, but neither in the DVD recorder nor in K3b I was able to find a menue item for this taksk. If I put in a "foreign" DVD, I find no way to "finalize" that. It is really strange. .. -- "Esowatch knipst Eso-seiten aus" http://www.promed-ev.de/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=569&forum=48

If Linux was unable to figure out what the disc contained, I'm not surprised that k3b can't finalise the disc. As for your recorder, it may have already finalised the disc when you asked for it to be ejected. > If I put in a "foreign" DVD, I > find no way to "finalize" that. The old recorder I do not have anymore. Seems to be so. I wonder where I can switch that off. When burning a DVD in the recorder that item is NOT shown...
