3 is simply an appalling company to deal with, this may be unique to
the three contracts we had with them but seems common with my sons Uni
firends...

If you have a problem, there solution is don't deal with it...

This is just my experience and whatever you don't have your phone stolen...

See I have heard that, but never had any problems with them. Every time
I had a problem (which admittedly wasn't that often) they just dealt
with it without fuss. Unlike orange.

Or in my case, deal with it quickly and efficiently.

Probably best avoided in all cases.

Unlike o2 though, they actually reduce the price for existing customers
staying with them.

How do you get a £5 month contract.? The cheapest I can find on the
Orange site is £15 SIM only contract.

Yehbut, the DNS requests (well, all traffic, in fact) are going
through my VPN, so "3" shouldn't see them at all. I'm kinda perplexed
as to why it's happening. One of these days when I've time and data
credit to use up before it expires, I'll have a tcpdump session...
