What I want is Avira to stop detecting it when I tell it to ignore the file but it isn't so guess I have to go register at Avira and make a complaint and hope they can fix the issue.

Ignore this, today I looked deeper into Avira's settings and found the expert mode so now have excluded that file from both the guard and scanner so it should no longer be detecting it even if it was a real virus.
