How could they? You have admitted you have no familiarity with the

That's really a good joke :-)

XP was a bloat in that times compared to NT4, but newer machines (my
hardware is older as XP AT ALL, though :-|) makes XP bearable.

Win7 and especially Vista is not there yet.
Working on them seems/feels to me like working on an unaccelerated
ATARI ST ;-)
Candy GfX off course! But for what price, and time (slow)... even with
ultra-new Hardware. [There was nothing in the last 10 years]
