I was thinking more like:- "I'm obsessed with collecting tat"

One Nokia 1100 could be an accident, six is unforgivable

Unless they are those 1100 with the hacking bug firmware,
then you'd be a very rich man, or found with a horses head

Did you notice when you signed up for the phone, you were asked to
give a mobile and a landline number, and not giving your landline might
'negatively impact on the credit check', words to that effect but defiantly
credit check, no mention of fraud prevention. I chose not to give them my landline
due to *my* anti-marketing-call measures, but with in seconds of completing
the transaction an automated system at my bank called my landline.

Anyway, I got the phone today, it's fine for what it's going to be used for.
I had to laugh at the "useful torch feature, it just makes the LCD backlight glow
at maximum!

Don't know, because the non-Voda SIM cards I have seem to have all
expired (tried in a known unlocked handset).
It's certainly OK with an ASDA SIM
I've access to some "3" SIMs but they won't work in a 2G phone will they?
