Did you notice when you signed up for the phone, you were asked to give a mobile and a landline number, and not giving your landline might 'negatively impact on the credit check', words to that effect but defiantly credit check, no mention of fraud prevention. I chose not to give them my landline due to *my* anti-marketing-call measures, but with in seconds of completing the transaction an automated system at my bank called my landline. Anyway, I got the phone today, it's fine for what it's going to be used for.
