Happy with the purchase, and a couple of Freeview PVRs bought on that basis attests to this. It's just nice to be told that's all. -- Graham. %Profound_observation%

In theory yes, but in practice (and my experience) this a risky option. The only 2 "clearance" phones I've had were both faulty. In both cases the faults were obscure and took me a few months to find (one had a faulty forward facing camera, so wouldn't do video calls) and hence out of the 90 day "clearance" warranty. In reality, only the factory that made the phone is capable of fully testing something as complex as a mobile phone. The returns channel will be cluttered with phones that show as 'no fault found' and the repairs company will have no no option but to class these as 'no fault' and repackage them for sale. regards, Ian |
