Thanks! Already found may way to the config file, see my reply in
message-id: <7ire7cF339dutU1(a)mid.individual.net>. Did not catch the
runmode setting for the current version though.

BUT even if you can disable the runmode dialog via the config file,
the current

"DView Base is limited to 10000 files, or 100 MB of text".

Or can this restriction also be removed? I would guess not.

The size restriction does not seem to apply to the older v1.39
release.

Yes I've noticed (but would proably need a day to figure them all out
unless they are explaiend in the help, have not had time to play more
with it now).

Indeed.

Looking at your above message. (Wasn't sure where to reply.) Depeche
View is part of the Swiss File Knife project on Sourceforge and you can
get all the older versions and forum help and support there too.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/swissfileknife/

Have fun.

Thanks! I ended up on Swiss Knife project at Sourceforge earlier on,
but I did not connect the dots..duh. Depeche View downloads are listed
there way down the file tree in a section on its own. From what I can
figure the project leader(?) offers an extended version for sale on
his homepage. So, if you want the extended version for free, you must
get the source and compile it your self, no? I might ask at the forum
there if sign up for an account..later maybe.
