Should add that the program is adware/nagware in that the opening
screen presents you with the choice of running the basic (free)
version, run a demo of the extended version, or learn more about the
latter. (As far as I can recall it was not like this when I tried the
prior version some months ago). Btw, no-install, 1,7mb.

Thunderbird has a pretty darned good search engine.
