If so have you tried the option to 'repair' the network connection? If your iMac?/iG5? has a wireless card, download then run, iStumbler to see if any other wireless access points are broadcasting within your vicinity, that might interfere with your wireless access. If there are, set a channel in your router settings, as far from theirs as possible and see if that helps. If not you could download some similar software for the Dell?, using the Mac, then transfer to the laptop via memory stick. That might help in your fault finding endeavours. Bob W

Cant even update router's home page! I have totally lost the patience for this kind of process. Sofa will be for non Internet work. Probably a good thing!
