The Exchange Routing Engine service will not start. The error is: The system
cannot locate the specified path.

Microsoft website says to reinstall the Exchange from cd
drive:\setup\I386\setup.exe /disasterrecovery. When I try this it errors out
telling me: You are attempting to install a version that is earlier than the
current.

What should I do?

Thanks
Scott

Scott with all the issues you've had over the last few days it may be time
to contact MS CSS. They are probably better suited to help you than through
this newsgroup.

That's too bad, because they want money just to email them a question never
mind call them.

My best bet seems to reinstall the whole SBS2003 and start over.

Every wizard I try seems to have an error.

Can I ask a dumb question, why do you expect that professional/trained
support will be free?

What is your time worth? Do you work for free?

I know you are in a world of hurt here but sometimes I think we expect
that everything should be free and that may be unrealistic.

How much is your time worth? How much is this costing your firm?
Sometimes you have to look at the price tag of not fixing things versus
how much that call costs.

Yes Scott you pay for CSS but they will stick with you until the problem is
resolved. Look back at the multiple issues in multiple threads you've posted
and even though a number of people have tried their best to help you by its
very nature asking in a newsgroup is not a quick and easy way of solving
everything.
