I've been using IrfanView for years and I'm curious about what
advantages FastStone Image Viewer and FastStone Photo Resizer have
when compared to InfranView.

Well, that might be the difference I guess. At any rate, the authors
haven't responded to my email yet.

No ad, CD, commercial, cripple, demo, nag, share, spy, time-limited,

They're both free and portable, so why not satisfy your curiosity?

You've got nothing to lose. :)

I got a response from the program author and I was right, the feature
had been removed from the portable version (don't know why, but probably
by accident) and has now been added back according to the email. I just
downloaded the new .zip file and will check it out later.
