What confuses me is how you are able to get the sig dashes to appear at all! When I try it, I don't even see the sig dash. Here are the MT-NewsWatcher settings I used in my test: <http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/3796/signatureheaders.png> And as you can see, no sig dash was added to the test post: <jollyroger-E3711E.10291801052010(a)news.individual.net> <http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/8449/postw.png> I'm not sure how you are causing the sig dash to be added at all unless you have very different settings, or you are manually typing it in the body of your post. -- Send responses to the relevant news group rather than email to me. My settings have all 4 boxes checked at the bottom, so I see my sig at the bottom as I am typing a reply. (I have "Insert signature into body" checked. You do not.) So I deleted my sig after the sig dash, leaving the sig dash. -- m-m http://www.mhmyers.com

So I can see the sig that will go into the message I'm posting, of course, as a double-check since "Send as" at the top does not tell me enough. -- m-m http://www.mhmyers.com

You had the signature blanked out. So there was no need to add it to the body. -- Send responses to the relevant news group rather than email to me.
