My problem is that nothing goes wrong. I mean, I love spyware! Viruses
give life that extra pizzaz! Nothing beats having your data eaten by a
macro virus.

Funny, I don't recall saying that my problems were "endemic". Can you

Perhaps when you originally reported the problems you didn't make it
clear that the system had worked for a time and then gone bad.

If you had, someone might have suggested your problem was malware or
a corrupted file and that you should try reinstalling Leopard.

If you did give the whole story at that time and no one made the
suggestion, then shame on us. Nevertheless, if you insist on using
terms like "fanboi" the presumption that you are trolling is natural
and nothing you have said so far makes the accusation unreasonable.

why not start afresh with the new machine the apple store offered you?

you probalby buggered up your old computer with whatever non working
configuration you preferred but thought was awesome at the time and it
simply migrated to your new computer.
