I must be old school. I use :w and :q as separate commands 'cuz I want
to know the write worked. Which probably also means that I'm alone when
I use the hjkl keys instead of those new-fangled arrow keys. They're
just a fad, anyway, and we'll all be back on the home row.

Yes, there used to be an install script, but they apparently left that out.
When the latest Firefox update prompted me to update Flash, the .tar.gz with
only the .so file in it was what it downloaded.
I guess they figure that somebody who downloads the .tar.gz knows what to do ;-)

Why would someone not use hjkl? The best thing about vi, besides it
being available on so many platforms (even the VAX/VMS box I log into
every once in a while has it) is you don't have to move your hands
away from the home keys.

Gotta admit, I tend to use :wq together, though....
