Now we know what RoHS is _really_ about. Fortunately, I've got about
thirty pounds of the stuff (in fact, it's the only kind of solder I do
have).

I've never soldered with acid core solder in my life, and I first soldered
39 years ago.

The rosin left over after soldering has always been quite solid, it's only
going to get in one's hair if it rubs off. And maybe that would leave
your hair nice and shiny.

Hey, if you can't trust a company whose corporate motto used to be
"Don't be Evil," who can you trust?

It isn't used for electronics, for obvious reasons. It probably isn't
made any more.

I first soldered about 55 years ago.
