Well you certainly do not support VB.Net on the main Microsoft VB.Net
newsgroup, because you don't post there. Supporting both of them is fine, as
long as you support Classic VB on a Classic VB group (of which this group is
one) and VB.Net on a VB.Net group (of which
microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb is one). If you want to support both of
them "together", as you put it, then please find a group that deals with
both of them together, and that is NOT this group nor is it the VB.Net
group. Surely even you can see that Micro$oft have clearly determined that
Classic VB and VB.Net are NOT the same and do not belong in the same group,
which is why they specifically and deliberately created a new and different
group on their own public servers for their new and different VB.Net
product. If you cannot see that, and if you continue to post your dotnet
stuff on this group, then you will be acting as a troll. If that's what you
decide that you want to do then there is nothing we can do to physically
stop you, but if you continue to do so then I for one shall immediately
filter out your messages and I hope that everyone else here will do the
same. In fact I am already quite certain that you will choose to carry on as
you have been doing, and I think it is disgraceful behaviour for anyone, let
alone someone who purports to be an MVP, and for what it's worth you can
count this as the very last time I shall either read or respond to one of
your posts.

Mike

Microsoft has officially dropped support for newsgroups, only supporting the
new(er) forums. I can therefor not understand why a MVP violates the MS
policy by posting in the newsgroups at all? MS wants all support to take
place in the forums.
