To which part of the policy are you referring?

He's right. Somewhere I've seen a list of groups.
The official location for .Net groups is at the forums.
And whenever someone who's paid for support asks
a question in the .Net group they're asked to move
it to the forum. I'm afraid that open discussion
has been "deprecated".

Don't you read the .Net group? It's great stuff.
While you've been here recommending .Net for
image work, your fellow MVP, Herfried K. Wagner,
is over there telling people that one shouldn't
expect high quality from the .Net Drawing class. :)

I was referring to MVPs being prohibited from posting in the newsgroups. I did
notice the paragraph about support.

Nah, don't hang out there.

Yeah I see the post concerning the JPG encoder and the comparison with
Photoshop, however; the library is fairly comprehensive and you can adjust image
quality when resizing as he mentioned in the post.

I guess "violates" is what concerns you, right, it is the wrong word.
What I ment to write was an accented "...why a MVP is posting in the NG's at
all", but as non natural english spoken couldn't find the correct sentence.

NG's are free to use for questions/replies. Preferably, not only for you,
keeping to the subject. ;)
