I'm not going to wade through 3092 posts to look for it. I want
brands, model numbers, and specifications of the radio equipment on both
the airliner and the ship. I can't believe that the ship, or the
airliner couldn't transmit and monitor on disaster frequencies for air
sea rescues. I've spent my life working on communications systems, and
I don't believe it.

I like the scotish word 'los', used for war-cries in the start of a
battle. Pronounced "llo's"

It's pretty the same as we would use in our local slang :),
pronouncation and meaning.
