Virtual Box includes EFI stuff. But, again, most folks don't need it.

I was wondering if there was a way to get an XSERVE (which has a serial
port) to spew out the booting messages (the verbose stuff) out the
serial port.

Should the server ever be in a situation where the boot does not
complete, I currently have no way to debug it.
