Aluminium extended EVERY time. Best keyboard I have ever had in thirty
years. My son and business colleagues all love it too after I introduced
it.

Righto, cheers, that's the bit that I don't like about the MacBook
keyboard, I have large hands, and they just don't fit it.

In the absence of Peter Ceresole (Is he okay? Why hasn't he posted his usual
encomium of the Matius) I'd agree with others in that it's a very personal
issue, but I do like the deep travel and massively positive click of the
Matias.

However it's bloody noisy (Noisy? A keyboard?) and often disturbs Valentina
working in the next room.

You missed it; of course I have.

OK, that was about as conclusive as I expected, so I've decided to go
for the Apple alumnium extended keyboard. If I don't like it, it can
always go back on eBay.
