RE PRIME NUMBER " FORMULA" POST PLEASE READ THE POST CLEARLY!!!!( THAT IS CLEARLY A FIRSTOF # SIEVE) WE DID SPECIFY CLEARLY IN THE POST That we have given secret equations to professors , and then asked you to check the previous post which clearly specified that we had to check the preceding and follwinf numbers to primer number and then dissect these into 1/3 and 2/3 to get a mathematical comparision. ... 3 Mar 2010 18:40
Solving quadratic matrix equation I forgot to mention another constraint, that is X is positive semi-definite. After finding the Y solution, is there a way to have X=Y-(A+B)/2 such that X is positive semidefinite? Thanks Fennecbreton ... 3 Mar 2010 09:32

vague conjecture there is no 'simple' infinite product expansion(*) that doesnt use the zeta zero's in the critical strip , of zeta(s) valid exactly in R(z) >= 0. (*) means that the product expansion is a function of one variable only : thus f(z). i know , 'simple' is vaguely defined , hence the title : vague conjecture. howe... 8 Mar 2010 05:19

in this definition of temperature, is "energy" only kinetic? When temperature is defined as the partial derivative of internal energy with respect to entropy, does "internal energy" include just *kinetic* energy? Or does it also include potential energy, e.g. in inter-atomic bonds? Thanks! Michael ... 2 Mar 2010 02:26 |
