remove a specific frequency from emg signal
Hi, Jan Well, I've always read that nyquest number for emg is 1000 and Basmajian and De Luca say the frequencies are from 15, 20 Hz, up to around 500. That's what I've always used and it has always work fine. In fact, when I used a bortec electromyographer I did not have this low frequencies noise, but this new equipm... 9 Aug 2010 15:40

remove a specific frequency from emg signal
Hi, Wayne. This is actually driving me insane. I do not have the necessary knowledge to understand the parameters, so I can't change what you wrote to make it work. You design - thank you for that - filtered all the signal and did not remove the low frequencies. I really don't wanna bother, but I do not know w... 9 Aug 2010 15:40
function fit to data :
ello Everybody, I am having a hard time fitting a user-defined function to a set of data.I have two columns of data namely 'x' and 'y' (all contained in two columns of a Excel spread sheet) and I have an equation reading y=f(x) containing 'n' number of parameters. I would like to fit the funct... 9 Aug 2010 15:40
Windows 7 Bug Help (R2010a)
Hello all, Does anyone know a way around the Windows 7 bug with Matlab R2010a for path and default folder? The paths do not save after closing Matlab and the default folder cannot be chosen (can it?). I am running the student version but I heard of this happening in the regular version as well. MATLAB inconsistency
Dear reader, I have a sinusoidal function, v(x), which should be odd, since sin is an odd function, and x is an odd function, so sin(...)-x should be odd. remove a specific frequency from emg signal
Dear Debora, You described, that the EMG signal has a frequency between 20 and 500 Hz. If this signal is turned on and off, e.g. if you do not measure a isometrical load, there will be a signal with a smaller frequency, of course. So I'm still not convinced, that these parts of the signal should by removed at all. ... 9 Aug 2010 14:33
