I just had so many problems with it, that I won't install it now - it
started when they began using Application Enhancer with it, but they
never seemed to get it back again once they stopped using it.

I can't be bothered with too many extra button myself, I rarely remember
what I assigned to them, and find them too fiddly to use anyway.

On the subject of tails, I've just bought a boring apple mouse to replace my
see-through jobbie as I needed 3 buttons (to run VRPC SA). How do you get
the kinks out of the tail?

I've been using it for many years now with tailed mice, on laptops and
desktops, PPC and Intel. Never the slightest trouble. Always works. No
slowdowns.

Could I suggest that your setup might be broken?

You could suggest that, but I think it is a problem with the wireless
mice and the logitech software, which is probably why you haven't seen it :)

It's a known google problem...

Oh lord. Wireless mice? Of course it's a known problem. Wireless mice
are a known problem. Which is why I won't use them.
