Yes, if I'm not able to duplicate the Guest account and then further restrict the duplicate for child use, that's probably what I'll do--although if I can figure out a way to automate it that will be even better. -- Kathy

You don't need to buy OS X Server to get Workgroup Manager. Workgroup Manager can be downloaded for free from Apple and it works fine on the standard version of OS X. That's true of the basic Guest account, but she is talking about having an additional account that is somewhat like a Guest account.
