Not without the material imports from the US, but Britain might have come out of WW2 in far better shape had the US not joined in militarily. That would have left the USSR crushed, Nazi Germany severely weakened and the British Empire intact. By 1943 Britain was producing weapons at a rate comparable to Nazi occupied Europe. Dirk
