Ah. Options... I'll try the BT mouse with the iG5 over here... -- Peter

The one thing I'd suggest doing is changing the Flip4Mac prefs so that WMV files get opened in the foreground by Quicktime Player. The default's to open them /really slowly/ in the background. This is done in the Flip4Mac pref pane under Player > Advanced. -- Chris

The wireless alu keyboard requires 10.5.7+, and Bluetooth. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1809 Cheers - Jaimie -- If you own a jackhammer, every problem looks like hours of fun

My Flip4Mac prefs on the iG5 don't have an Advanced tab under Player- and they seem to open pretty quickly in what looks like QT player. I'll have a look. I have 2.2.1.11. It says there's a free upgrade, to 2.3?, but wants to charge me $29 for it. Odd definition of 'free'. As it is, it plays everything I'd like it to play, so I think I'll hang on till I have the inteliMac. -- Peter

Bluetooth isn't available via the networking tab of System Prefs, so I guess it's not avaiable on this iG5, full stop. As for 10.5.7+, before I take the iG5 away to Geneva, I have a retail DVD with sys 10.5 on it which I've not yet installed, but I will do so before I go and leave ADSL behind. -- Peter |
