I'm shifting around 350mb a month, but the phone mainly lives on 3G, and
I've bought & updated quite a few apps whilst out n about on the 3G.
Could soon reduce that by just switching wifi on for some of the
updates.

So does all this mean that they ar taking away unlimited for the
existing users or just new ones?D

If it doesn't give you a date then it will be since you got the phone.
If you have "reset statistics" then it will show the date that you reset
it underneath the "reset" button.

Will it? I have installed the operating system a few time, as it has
gone from 3.0->3.1 and all the way through the 4 betas, including full
resets there.

Seems a lot for a few months, but not that much for a year.
