I couldn't have put it better myself. Actually, on reflection.... MST

Isn't it all new contracts on the iPhone 4 from when it comes out? That's what the BBC site and O2's site both say. But information conflicts. For example, the BBC: > The network's cheapest tariff will cost 25 per month for two years and will > allow a user to download 500MB per month. but O2's site, specifically referring to the iPhone 4: <http://shop.o2.co.uk/new-iphone/tariffs.html> shows their 12 month Simplicity contract at 15/month including 500MB. If you're on PAYG, it's cheaper still. Again, referring (apparently) to the iPhone 4 (ibid): > Top up 10-14. Get 300 texts and 500MB internet and PAYG simplicity at <http://www.o2.co.uk/explore/tariffs/paygo> quotes unlimited texts and unlimited web for 10/month. I'm sure the smoke will have cleared in the next couple of weeks. MST

Err.. we don't have to guess, we know. June 24th. The point in this case surely is if you have existing iPhone contract with the 'unlimited' data option, when you next come to renew that contract you won't be offered that. The only option you will be offered is the new tariff, assuming your renewal date is October or later. Basically O2 will transition everybody off the unlimited tariff as their contracts roll over. I can't be bothered to proxy my way in, although it's irritating when my 18m is up next month. I'm sure I can sort out something by email. Sorry for any confusion.
