Absolutely not : this is free software ( LGPL v3, like
OpenOffice.org )

If you want some screenshots about features, you should have a look at
the wiki.

Exactly. OpenOffice.org is great (I'm Domain Developer for
OpenOffice.org), but is must be generic, and not Education
specialized, so we did something different, say complementary.

To tell you more, we work with

- the teachers, who explain what they want, and we try to associate,
better "coordinate" the features with the exact needs in the programs.
- students from engineers schools (like Epitech Paris, UTBM and Ecole
Centrale Nantes, and some other): they contribute on the code side,
as projects (learning in the same time OpenOffice.org source code) and
we drive them
- our children, to have a direct feedback ;)

Our needs are to meet people from different countries, analyze their
feedback, and their need to improve the software, discover other
Educational Systems, and share.

Last but nopt least, everything is coupled with dedicated tools, for
collaborative work
- http://campus-libre.educoo.org/index.php : sort of "Moodle" like
(free)
- http://educoo.edulibre.org/ (brand new), for mutualization work

Of course, everything is based on sharing and free linceses use.
