For the ATM machine (despite what one respondent wrote here), the self-checkout at the supermarket, and similar brief encounters it is just fine. On iPhone and iPod Touch Apple's touch-screen implementation is sublime and a work of pure genius, as it will no doubt be on the iPads that my wife and I will order ASAP.
