Are you sure?

And what of signicance is that to spherical surface plates covering
the entire Earth? both continental and under the ocean?
They have no way to move for the most part. And that is my point.

Have you never heard of earthquakes?
Have you never seen photos of earth movements along a fault line?
Have you never heard of volcanoes such as Mount Saint Helens,
whose fury was powered by the Juan de Fuca Plate subducting
underneath the North American Plate, dragging in water which
turned into explosive steam?

How can you claim that plates don't move?
