Of *course* he has more stupid questions! BURT's entire posting career consists of a mix of stupid questions, stupid assertions, stupid attempts at logic, and stupid conclusions.

It can also be a sign of trolldom. Who can say that at one time or another, he hasn't posited some ludicrous claim, knowing it to be false? I prefer to post things that I believe to be true, but state them in such a way as to *imply* something I do not believe (when I troll at all), vs. outright lies. Sometimes, though, I say things in jest, expecting readers to understand that I don't mean them, but get responses indicating that readers think I'm serious. Of course, that doesn't comply with your description, so this is a bit of a...what's the word? Women should not be subject to the draft.

Well, you can go to the metalevel and realize that all this is just waste of time, and raise a garden.

I like raised gardens; they're easier to reach. Unfortunately, they're harder to build, so most of the gardens I've created have been at ground level. Now I'm living in CO, and we garden very little. <loon> Plants cannot grow, because they start with a single cell, which cannot ever become more than one cell, and cells are unable to change size. They're always the same, microscopic size. QED. Now, if particles were able to move backward through time, maybe *animals* could grow, but not plants. </loon> How's that? Burtish enough for you, or do I need pharmacological help to reach that level? |
