From: Cliff Galiher on 18 Sep 2009 23:29 SG: I guess I looked at it from a product perspective. Sure, SBS should be on a UPS. But I'd say most small businesses do accounting too. I wouldn't want to start seeing questions about Peachtree or Quickbooks in here either. Installing those products on SBS? Sure. But specific feature questions? Probably not. So installing Powerchute on SBS? IF that were causing problems? Of course. But feature specific questions about how Powerchute handles shutdown times, etc? I just felt (and feel) that there are better resources...no matter how "nice" the folks are here. I guess that makes me one of the mean ones. ;) -Cliff "SuperGumby [SBS MVP]" <not(a)your.nellie> wrote in message news:u2na2BMOKHA.5488(a)TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > and as all SBS systems should have an attached UPS, I consider it fair to > ask here. > > In PowerChute BE, on the page where such settings are shown, there is a > question mark on the title bar, however if you hit the 'configure' button > and then the Qmark on that page there is a better description. > > 'Use the UPS On Battery Thresholds to set the Runtime Remaining Threshold > for your UPS.
