From: TaliesinSoft on 15 Sep 2009 10:22 Here's an update to my opening posting in this thread regarding how to change the login screen..... a) Just dragging and dropping a file named DefaultDesktop.jpg to System/Library/CoreServices doesn't work even if the jpg image is sized to be the same 2560 by 1600 pixels as the default file the drop is replacing. b) The applet Loginox, as stated on the website found at <http://www.branox.com/Loginox/> is not yet compatible with Snow Leopard. c) The applet Visage Login, found on the website <http://keakaj.com/visagelogin.html> will change the login screen and will work from both a user and an admin account.
