Were you looking for other Unixes as well as just OS X? There are
already SNMP-based things on the app store that work for the other
Unixes.

I had a look, but didn't see anything obvious - what should I be looking
for?

I thought John Welch (aka bynkii) had recommended something recently.
I'll have a look later if that doesn't help - got to go and pick up my

Since I have the iPhone SDK and Xcode, I could do it myself for free,
but as Woody is more familiar with development he could do it for free
in a tenth of the time, yeah?

I think the app I was thinking of was Lithium, which is free but needs
a commercial server-side daemon. They sponsor Angry Mac Bastards.
