My S2 is fine, what model(s) are yours?
Seems very odd all three playing up.
Are the Skype accounts OK, have you tried them in a Skype application on a PC?
It's difficult to know what to advice on the info given.

My S2 has suddenly stopped connecting to Skype properly with an
'Unknown Server' message all the time. Then the S2 hags, and it is an
effort to try and switch if off and on again to rebbot it.

And also it wont create a new Skype text:

If I go to Messages / New / Skype Chat / ! No Content to Display / OK
- this always fails.

Or

If I go to Skype / Contacts - pick a Contact (but sometimes not all
are listed) / Options / Start Chat - this sometimes works.

Or

I go to Skype / Chats / Options / Start New Chat / pick a Contact (but
few FContacts are listed - sometimes none) / Mark / Done - this
sometimes works.

Skype is very unreliable.

And whenever I reboot the S2 at the very beginning Skype states that a
message is waiting - but there never is one.

The Amoi WMA8709. Marketed here as the 3 Skypephone S2. It has an
special out-of the box Skype application that (somehow) connects to Skype
indirectly via 3 infrastructure so does not use you data allocation. In fact you
can make and recieve Skype to Skype calls without any 3 credit.

What version of the Skype app is on the handset?
The one here still has 2.9.12 that was on it from new, but I have heard of
BREW 3.80.0.2 being deployed over the air as an update you are forced to accept.

I haven't heard anything negative about this version apart from the ability to manually
refresh the list of contacts has gone. (Ian Smith posting here)

No, they are sold as PAYG.
You probebly remember the poster campagn slogan, "Free Skype calls forever" and
wondered (as I did), "What's the catch?"
